This ignited the passion within our team to deliver a modern web based donation funnel that played a direct role in greater intake, and thus, greater aid.
Samaritan’s Purse International Relief provides hope for millions in over 80 countries. With donations now coming from smartphones and tablets, Samaritan’s Purse increased annual online donations by 38%. We’re providing a unique experience for every device so donors can give and grow, everywhere.

With a global organization, consolidating the many initiatives into campaigns meant better understanding and more accurate user actions. A cleaner, image driven interface allowed Samaritan’s Purse to focus the donor’s attention on urgent support items. Pairing this approach with the incredible team at SP generated a $12 Million increase in online giving.

Site wide donation forms, improved donor analytics and custom fundraising system has allowed Samaritan’s Purse to better engage their constituents. We’ve automated their supply chain and fulfillment process. Donors place and pay for Christmas shoebox orders online, shipping receives an ‘intelligent’ order report and the user tracks their specific gift location anywhere on earth.
Every dollar raised means another life changed — this makes us passionate about increasing conversion rate. Unique challenges arise when deploying platforms in three continents. We conquered each barrier with custom functionality.

Visually, donation objects must remain simple (limit steps) across all devices and screen widths. Optimized, action based text reduces user stress while increasing engagement. Call to action (CTA) positioning must occupy salient screen locations based on target demographic preference (usually top right or bottom corners).

In the UK, the Barclay’s API taught us lessons we used to improve payments in Australia (WestPac Bank API). Security is another foundational pillar that must be handled with expertise when processing hundreds of thousands of transactions. We implemented an elastic cloud configuration to optimize site performance and donor financial data encryption.
